I spent a good part of my Friday evening, July 25, at the closing reception for the Contemporary Gallery.
There I had the good fortune to meet and chat with artist Brian Butler about his highly detailed, intricate drawings.
I also was fortunate to meet and chat with poet Lenore S. DeCerce (Lennie? Lenny?) about her work.
Later, I spent some time at the Orange Line Gallery, temporarily set up in a tent at Clinton Square as part of Jazz in the Square.
The Orange Line Gallery will once again be set up in a tent, this coming Saturday, August 2, as part of the Hanover Square Arts and Music Festival.
This gallery should have a more permanent home on Montgomery Street by mid-September.
